Miles joined his comrades from the neo-natal intensive care unit in a triumphant return to Swedish Hospital.
It was great to see some old friends, like Sophie...
...and Sadie.
Of course, Miles was thrilled to see Teresa, one of the respiratory therapists who used to put on his C-PAP.
And we were all delighted to see Rob, Margo and their daughter Mira, the Girl in the Incubator Next Door when Miles first arrived at the NICU.
It was wonderful to see everyone doing well and in such good health, not least ourselves.
Grandma Margee joined the festivities, too.
Finally, it was time for the 4-yard dash, toddler division.
Miles brushed off his dad's over-coaching to win first place. He took home some NICU schwag and a Babies 'R' Us gift certificate for his troubles.
Beijing, here we come!
