It had been 2+ weeks since our Xannie Nanny split in Split (we simply do not tire of jokes on that theme, in case you're wondering). Yet somehow the resourceful Mrs. F. managed to build a sufficient network of contacts in Dubrovnik to yield a competent babysitter in time to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary.
So we ended up enjoying not one, but two, evenings out on the town, reflecting on our two wonderful children (without being distracted by our actual children).
There were ample reminders of what a good idea it was to take the plunge nine years ago.
