We awoke to another beautiful day in Boulder, with the sun-fried Flatiron mountains in view.
Miles was up and ready to go.
But first we needed to loosen up in the pool.
Then we took a scenic drive through the mountains to meet a friend for lunch in Denver.
Miles did most of the driving.
Colorado, it turns out, is a very fine state.
Daddy and Miles took an intrepid hike up to see Boulder Falls.
We later enjoyed a picnic with our Boulder friends Martha and Jon, and their kids Sophia and Lucas.
In the company of other young kids, Miles proved to be quite a social climber.
Miles decided that he and bikes belong together...
...everyone's bikes.
