Salzburg Christmas Market

After a couple of quick border crossings to Austria over the past two months (just because we could), we were ready for the real thing: a weekend trip to Salzburg.

It was the opening weekend of Salzburg's open-air Christmas market, filling the streets with slow-moving tourists and reducing our stroller pace to about 1 km/hr. So we took our time puttering through the Altstadt before marching up to the Festung Hohensalzburg for the sunset. We topped it off with eine kleine Mozartmusik at Schloβ Mirabell, while Judith graciously agreed to watch over the Muffinhead, who is not exactly concert-safe.
