Salzburg Christmas Market

After a couple of quick border crossings to Austria over the past two months (just because we could), we were ready for the real thing: a weekend trip to Salzburg.

It was the opening weekend of Salzburg's open-air Christmas market, filling the streets with slow-moving tourists and reducing our stroller pace to about 1 km/hr. So we took our time puttering through the Altstadt before marching up to the Festung Hohensalzburg for the sunset. We topped it off with eine kleine Mozartmusik at Schlo╬▓ Mirabell, while Judith graciously agreed to watch over the Muffinhead, who is not exactly concert-safe.
