Eiffel Power

No first visit to Paris would be complete without a trip to the top of the Tour Eiffel, all 1,063 ft. of it. Or at least that's what we insistently told Cov, whose previously expressed enthusiasm for heights was extremely limited. Somehow, our arguments became more persuasive after a bar was located on the second level.


In any event, all trepidations were conquered and we enjoyed a splendid view of the sunset, with all the safety and comfort the best 19th-century technology could offer.
