Our last day in Boulder was spent absorbing copious amounts of ultraviolent radiation on Michael and Hillary's expansive lawn. Miles thoroughly enjoyed playing with his big cousins Lauren and Kyle and their friends.



Then it was off to the airport for another trouble-free flight with Miles (thanks to his portable steering wheel).

Continental Divide

To celebrate Dean's birthday, Lisa's cousin Michael took us for a tour around scenic Rocky Mountain National Park.



We took Miles for a pleasant hike along a waterfall, then drove up to the Continental Divide, where we still found plenty of snow. Then it was back to Estes Park for the world's best ice cream cone, while elk meandered along the thoroughfare.

Rocky Mountain High Society

Thanks to Lisa's connections in Boulder society, we snagged an invite to a party at one of the local cottages.

Miles found he could make do with the rustic equipment.

His diligence was on full display.

In fact, they offered him a job.

We watched the sun go down over the Rockies...

... and pulled wayward toads from the swimming pool....

...until it was time go back to our own hovel.
