Miles Has Been Workin' on a Railroad

Both being rail enthusiasts, Miles and Leo were excited to visit the historic Snoqualmie Valley Railroad in scenic Snoqualmie, Washington.

While Leo took a preparatory snooze, Miles inspected the equipment.

The controls were a little dated, but everything seemed to be in working order.

It was just a matter of building up a little steam.

Of course, it's a rough life, riding the rails.

But Miles was up to the task.

Soon the train was on its way.

Miles made sure to get a comfy seat.

He and his friend Zoe were ready with their tickets.

Just in time for the conductor!

Fire Truck Bed (Part 2)

The Fire Truck Bed went over well but did not facilitate sleep in any way. Two hours later, Miles was still bouncing off the walls with delight.

Finally, he collapsed in a heap of exhaustion around 11 p.m., but not before declaring, "It's SO big!”

Fire Truck Bed (Part 1)

A special treat was waiting for Miles when he prepared to retire for the night ...

It was the stuff of dreams... his very own FIRE TRUCK BED.

Whoever maintains that material things cannot bring happiness must first contend with the testimony of a young boy who unexpectedly finds himself in the possession of big red fire truck.

On the Farm

It was Saturday morning, and Leo was raring to go.

Mommy suggested that the boys might enjoy a day at the farm.

Miles said he was OK with that...

... as long as there would be heavy machinery involved.

In fact, there was.

After a hard day's work on the farm, there's nothing like a nice plate of yakisoba.

Finally, to wrap up a perfect day, Miles' friend Conor came over to watch Wallace and Gromit.
